According to a recent leak, Motorola is working on the Edge 40 Neo smartphone in three different color schemes based on the Pantone color system. The regulation in the United States disclosed the battery capacity of the midranger as well as the charging speed, and today we found out that the phone had been granted FCC certification.

According to the charger that is compatible with the MC-681N, the QM50 battery will support fast charging at an output of 68 watts and will have a capacity of 5,000 mAh. In addition, the mobile device will be equipped with NFC and 5G connectivity.

The rapid charging speed is nothing new; it was already present in the model that came before the Edge 30 Neo. This feature is not exclusive to the Edge 30 Neo. When compared to the previous generation, the capacity has seen a tremendous increase of 25%. We were very pleased with how lightweight the Edge 30 Neo was, so all we can do is hope that the Edge 40 Neo will not add too much additional weight to the overall package.
