On September 21, Xiaomi will make their official debut in the Chinese market with the Redmi Buds 5 earbuds as well as the Redmi Note 13 series smartphones. On one of Xiaomi’s Weibo accounts, a teaser poster for their soon-to-be-released earbuds along with the announcement was posted.
According to the poster, the Redmi Buds 5 have a significantly different appearance to that of the Redmi Buds 4, which can be seen in the comparison. The Buds 4 have an oval case, and the earbuds have a design that is similar to a canal. In contrast, the Buds 5 have a case that is rectangular, and the earbuds have stems.
According to the teaser poster, the earbuds will be offered in three colors: purple, black, and white. They will also have 46dB of active noise reduction. In addition to that, the earbuds will have a noise reduction range of 2,000 hertz and a dual microphone for artificial intelligence call noise reduction.
Active noise cancellation (ANC) with three levels and 35 decibels of volume is featured in Xiaomi’s previous-generation Redmi Buds 4 headphones. Additionally included are a dual-mic setup with artificial intelligence for reducing call noise as well as a 10mm dynamic driver.
The Redmi Buds 4 have the ability to play music for up to 30 hours on a single charge, with each earbud having a life span of six hours. They also support quick charging, which allows you to get an hour’s worth of listening time after only five minutes of charging the device.
