Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Has Been Spotted on GeekBench

It is expected that Samsung will soon release the new Galaxy Tab A9 line of tablet computers. According to reports, the Galaxy Tab A9 and the Galaxy Tab A9+ will be included in the lineup. However, prior to any official announcement, the series’ entry-level model was found on a well-known benchmarking website.

Listing on the GeekBench for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9

GeekBench has revealed that the forthcoming tablet from the South Korean tech giant will be in the mid-range price bracket. According to the listing, the processor inside of the Galaxy Tab A9 is outfitted with eight cores, six of which operate at a frequency of 2.00 GHz, and two of which operate at a frequency of 2.20 GHz. This processor is also paired with the Mali-G57 MC2 graphics processing unit. In light of this information, it can be deduced that the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC will most likely serve as the device’s power supply.

According to the sighting on GeekBench, the upcoming tablet will ship with the Android 13 operating system already installed and will have 4 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM). The single core test was successfully completed by the device with a score of 735, as indicated by the benchmark results. On the other hand, the results of the multi core test were given a score of 1,766. This is noteworthy because it lends credence to the assertions made in our earlier report that the tablet will be equipped with the Helio G99 chipset.
