Chandrayaan-3, According To Narendra Modi, Landed At Shiva Shakti Point On The Moon:
On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi traveled nonstop from Athens, the capital of Greece, to Bengaluru, the capital of India’s Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), in order to speak with ISRO scientists about the successful Chandrayaan-3 mission. In addition to this, he announced that the location on the moon’s surface where the lander Vikram would touch down would be known as “Shiva Shakti Point.”
He declared that “Tiranga Point” would be the name of the location where the Chandrayaan-2 lander crashed-landed on the surface of the Moon in 2019, and he referred to the successful completion of the Chandrayaan-3 mission as a “extraordinary moment” in the history of India’s space program. He also said that “Shiva Shakti Point” would be the name of the location.
National Space Day was proclaimed by the Prime Minister to be observed annually on August 23, the date that the Chandrayaan-3 lander successfully landed on the surface of the moon. As he addressed the ISRO team at the ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC), he became emotional as he lavishly praised them for their dedication and passion.
ISRO Chairman S. Somanath had provided him with information concerning the Chandrayaan-3 mission.
The Prime Minister was greeted by a sizeable crowd that had gathered outside of HAL Airport as well as the nearby Jalahalli Cross. Many of the people in the crowd were seen waving national flags.

While Modi was in Johannesburg for the 15th BRICS summit, he virtually joined the ISRO team at Mission Operations Complex (MOX) at ISTRAC on Wednesday evening as the Lander Module of the Chandrayaan-3 mission successfully touched down on the lunar surface.
