Geekbench Listing Reveals the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 with an Overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and 16GB of RAM:
Xiaomi is actively teasing the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3’s design and features on Weibo ahead of the device’s August 14 release date in China. Days before its official unveiling, a Xiaomi smartphone with an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking website. This device is widely believed to be the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3. Android 13.0 is used for the presentation. The foldable smartphone will have a Leica-branded quad rear cameras and a foldable AMOLED display measuring 8.02 inches, as has been confirmed.
The listing also suggests that an octa-core chipset will be inside the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3. The maximum clock speed for three cores is 2.02GHz, for four cores it’s 2.80GHz. And for the primary CPU core it’s 3.36GHz. Overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, judging by these CPU speeds. In the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC revision, the top clock speed for a primary CPU core is 3.2GHz.
The Mix Fold 3 is said to feature a foldable AMOLED display of 8.02 inches in size, 120 frames per second of refresh rate, and 2,600 nits of brightness. The smartphone is supposedly capable of withstanding 5,000,000 folds. The device is confirmed to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. And it features a Leica-branded quad rear camera unit. Xiaomi claims that the phone’s battery can last for up to 1.34 days of use.
The Geekbench database now includes a Xiaomi smartphone with the model number 2308CPXD0C. Listing shows 2,071 single-core points and 5,419 multi-core points, suggesting it is for the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3. The listing suggests that the phone has the equivalent of 16GB of RAM, which would be 14.84GB.
