A new tablet known as the Redmi Pad SE is reportedly being developed by Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi. Some details and renders of the unannounced device were made available by its listing on Kimovil. The Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE weighs 478 grams and has dimensions of 255.53 x 167.08 x 7.36mm, according to the report. The device will have an 11-inch LCD panel with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, a refresh rate of 90Hz, a pixel density of 207ppi, a maximum Brightness of 400 nits, contrast of 1500:1, and NTSC color gamut of 70% are all specified. It will have a screen-to-body ratio of 84%.
The Redmi Pad SE’s chassis will house a Snapdragon 680 processor. 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage will be added to the SoC. It will be powered by Android 13 with MIUI for Pad on top. It will have an 8,000mAh battery and a USB-C port for 10W charging. According to the report, the tablet will provide up to 21 hours of video playback or 12 hours of gaming time.
An 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera will be included with the Redmi Pad SE when it is released. It will have a quad speaker setup that has been tuned for Dolby Atmos.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE will support the face unlock feature in place of a fingerprint scanner. A virtual ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and hall sensor are also included. The Redmi Stylus for Pad is also supported.
