Microsoft has made public announcements regarding the launch of a number of new Surface laptops. In addition to the Surface Go 4 and the Surface Laptop Studio 2, Microsoft also unveiled the Surface Laptop Go 3, which is also known as the Surface Laptop Go 3. The price increases to a total of 999 US dollars after an additional 200 dollars are added for the upgrade to 16 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM) and 256 gigabytes of internal storage. The product is currently available for purchase in the United States, and the date of the first day of sales has been set for October 3rd, 2023. The company’s Surface Laptop Go 3 features a PixelSense Display that is 12.4 inches in size and is compatible with touchscreens. This display has a maximum brightness of 330 nits, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and a resolution of 1536 by 1024 pixels; additionally, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Despite the thin profile, light weight, and compact design, Microsoft has been able to include a full-sized keyboard with a large precision trackpad directly below it. In addition to supporting Windows Hello and One Touch sign-in, the laptop’s power button doubles as a fingerprint reader, and the device also comes equipped with both of these features. Microsoft claims that its 40Wh battery pack can provide a battery life of up to 15 hours with support for fast charging. This is according to official notes.
A webcam with a resolution of 720p HD can be found on the front of the device. The Intel Core i5-1235U processor from the 12th generation provides the power for the Surface Laptop Go 3 from Microsoft. For the audio, it has two far-field studio microphones as well as Omnisonic Speakers that are equipped with Dolby Audio Premium. Windows 11 Home is the operating system that is already installed on the laptop. Connectivity options include a 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 LE, a USB-C 3.2 port, a USB-A 3.1 port, a USB-C 3.2 port, and a Surface Connect port. WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 LE are also included.
