Rollable smartphone concept from Tecno, the Phantom Ultimate:
Tecno Phantom Ultimate, Tecno’s rollable smartphone concept, was unveiled today. It is the most recent product to emerge from the company’s research and development labs. The display enlarges laterally, going from 6.55″ to 7.11″ in size in 1.2-1.3 seconds. This second Tecno concept device is extremely similar to the Vision V, with the exception of the portion that folds out of the way.
The Tecno Phantom Ultimate has a single-drive motor system that can be expanded by the user by pressing a button located on the top right side of the phone. When this button is pressed, the device expands. A typical smartphone with a screen size of 6.55″ has an additional screen that, when the device is rolled up, serves as an Always-On Display and is located on the back of the device.
The display is a 7.11-inch On-cell LTPO AMOLED with a pixel density of 388 PPI and a resolution of 2,296 x 1,596 pixels. It provides coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut to the fullest extent possible, despite the fact that it is difficult to verify such numbers on a concept.
Because its base is only 9.93 millimeters thick, Tecno claims that the device(Tecno Phantom Ultimate) can be held comfortably in one hand using only that one hand. The back of the device is textured, making it easier to grip, and protective glass covers the area where it slides.

The really disappointing news is that the Phantom Ultimate is still only a concept, and there is no evidence to suggest that it will be available for purchase any time in the near future. It is impossible to speculate on how long it will take for this process to be completed because there are undoubtedly technological obstacles that need to be conquered before rollable phones can be made available.
