The Tecno Phantom V Flip, the company’s first clamshell foldable smartphone, was just recently introduced to the public. Internally, it has a foldable 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display, and externally, it has a circular OLED screen that is surrounded on all sides by a ring that contains two cameras and an LED flash.
The Mediatek Dimensity 8050 chipset, which features an octa-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of 3.0 GHz and is used to power the Phantom V Flip, is the source of the device’s power. When it was first introduced, it had 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM; however, through the use of the Extended Memory software feature, it was possible to install an additional 8 GB of RAM.
The foldable 22:9 panel has a brightness of 1,000 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which is supported by the panel. When using the more powerful cameras to take selfies, the external display, which measures 1.32 inches and has a number of widgets and notification options, can also be used as a viewfinder for the camera.
The primary camera has a resolution of 64 megapixels, a sensor measuring 1/1.73 inches, an aperture of 1.7 millimeters, and phase detection autofocus. The second camera is an ultra-wide angle camera that has a resolution of 13 megapixels and autofocus.
The camera, which is housed within a punch hole, contains a sensor that has a resolution of 32 megapixels.

When at its full length, the device has a height of 171 millimeters and a width of just 7 millimeters. Tecno outfitted the device with a battery that has a capacity of 4,000 mAh, which represents a sizable two-cell solution for the category. According to Tecno, a full charge of the battery can be achieved in just 15 minutes when using the 45W wired charging capability of the phone, which is enabled by the adapter that is included in the retail packaging.
EllaGPT is the company’s answer to personal assistants like Google Assistant, Siri, Bixby, and Celia. It was developed specifically for the Tecno Phantom V Flip and adds “intelligent features” to the smartphone.
Tecno offers the phone in the colors Black and Purple, both of which can be purchased from them. During the course of the announcement, the price was given as 49,999 Indian Rupees.
