Apple Is Rumored To Be Releasing New USB-C AirPods, At An Event On September 12:
The upcoming launch event for Apple, which is being called “Wonderlust,” is scheduled for September 12. The highly anticipated iPhone 15 series will be unveiled by the company during this event. As the date of the event draws closer, a number of reports have begun to appear online. The most recent one suggests that the Apple AirPods will no longer have a lightning connector and will instead come with a charging case that utilizes the USB-C standard.
A recent report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman suggests that Apple’s upcoming event will feature the introduction of new smartwatches in addition to the iPhone 15 and other new products. The same report suggests that Apple may also unveil AirPods equipped with a charging case that is compatible with USB-C at this event. It is currently unknown whether Apple will roll out a new generation of AirPods or simply update the ones they already have so that they are compatible with USB-C.
Apple’s high-end headphones, like the AirPods Pro 2, have been rumored to include USB-C support in the past. This report was provided by Ming-Chi Kuo, who is well-known as an analyst.
