Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 Launch Globally Today

The industry’s first earbuds with 1.5Mbps lossless sound quality transmission and other new sound technologies, the FreeBuds Pro 3, were unveiled by Huawei on September 25, 2023. Let’s take a closer look at the new wireless wearable.

The headset makes use of the StarLight connection’s fundamental technology. The anti-interference capability of signal transmission is improved by this combination by a factor of two. It offers 1.5 Mbps audio transmission, achieving super CD-level lossless sound quality and painstakingly restoring the original musical intent.

With Huawei’s self-developed L2HC 3.0, the LDAC dual high-definition audio decoding, the FreeBuds Pro 3 was introduced. It has been certified for sound quality by both HWA and Hi-Res. This set of earbuds features a tweeter with a Halbach magnet array and a super-sensory acoustic dual-unit. The 11mm super-magnetic woofer with a large drive produces shocking, rumbling bass. The treble soars to 48 kHz, and the bass drops to 14 Hz.

Based on the equal loudness curve of the human ear, the EQ balance is accurately adjusted in real-time for the full-frequency volume, ear structure, and wearing status.

An adaptive noise cancellation algorithm is part of the new smart Dynamic Noise Cancellation 3.0. The DNC 3.0 uses a three-microphone hybrid noise reduction system in the background.

The noise both inside and outside the ear can be precisely identified and calculated in real time. The noise reduction effect is then dynamically adjusted by DNC 3.0 to local circumstances. To accommodate the needs of a wider range of users, Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 now offers XS earbud sizes, giving users a total of four sizes to choose from and enjoying music.
