Xiaomi introduced the Redmi K60, Redmi K60E, and Redmi K60 Pro smartphones in December of last year. The Redmi K60 Ultra is the fourth smartphone to join the lineup.

The Redmi K60 Ultra is powered by the Dimensity 9200+ SoC and features up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and MIUI 14. The K60 Ultra’s 6.67-inch, 1.5K (2,712 by 1,220) display features a 12-bit resolution, 2,600 nits of peak brightness, and 2,880 hertz of pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimming.

The Redmi K60 Ultra, according to Xiaomi, can run 30 games at a native frame rate of 144 FPS (100+ with frame rate interpolation) thanks to its dedicated graphics chip, X7, which was developed in collaboration with Pixelworks. The touch screen has a sampling rate of 480 hertz and a refresh rate of 144 hertz. The X7 chip also enhances visual clarity in games.

The Redmi K60 Ultra has a fingerprint reader embedded into the display, but Xiaomi hasn’t said whether the screen is LCD or OLED. The display is DCI-P3 compliant and also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content.

Three cameras—an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 54MP Sony IMX800 (effectively 50MP) primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and 8K HDR10+ recording—are housed on a camera island in the device’s rear. According to Xiaomi, the camera island’s metal dome DECO design is achieved by extending the island’s sides downwards. The 20 megapixel camera is perfect for taking photos or making video calls.
